Eight players, all the maps, from the smallest (Sun's End) to the largest (Doomdark's Revenge).
Victory by citadel grab of 1 + floor(citadels / sqrt( 8 )), or time limit of citadels * 2 days. Player's scores, as calculated by the game, at the end of each game, will be added up. The player with the highest final sum will be the winner of the marathon.
Each player will receive 2 * (game days div 8 ) points at the start of each game. For each 24 hours that the player doesn't play their turn, a point will be deducted. Any negative points will be deducted from the player's game score. After accumulating citadels div 2 negative points, player will resign the game.
Once per year, a player may request the game to stop for a period of time they specify in advance.
Custom game with everything on except dragons, impassable mountains, only garrisons disband, time compensation, recruiter's time, quadrants.
Alliances allowed.
Sun's End: 2 citadels, 8 days
Middlegate: 2 citadels, 10 days
The Foul Return: 4 citadels, 20 days
The Quadrant of Five: 4 citadels, 30 days
The Circle: 5 citadels, 35 days
Winterwyrd: 5 citadels, 38 days
Lords of Midnight: 7 citadels, 40 days
The Lost City: 7 citadels, 45 days
The Rift: 10 citadels, 55 days
Doomdark's Revenge: 11 citadels, 65 days
